•The automated system "Digital library of methodological manuals and dissertations" is intended for scientific libraries, universities, scientific institutes, colleges and institutions of secondary and preschool education, as well as scientists, researchers, specialists of educational organizations, and all interested persons.
•The goals and objectives of this system are to create a digital library and organize a single database of electronic versions of methodological manuals and dissertations.
•Digital library, allows you to reliably save and effectively use a variety of collections of electronic documents (manuals and dissertations) localized in the system itself, as well as accessible to it through telecommunications networks. The digital library is not only the organizer of access to remote resources, but also the producer of its own resources provided for use by the general public: automatic assignment of UDC and QR"
Functional capabilities and assignments
•Users:
•Users are divided into two groups:
•A) Publishers (Manuals and dissertations)
•B) Readers (users of scientific libraries, scientists, researchers, etc.)
• Publishers register in the system and create a Publisher account;
•Fill out the User profile;
•Selects and fills out a form for a methodological manual or a form for a dissertation;
•Add (upload) an electronic version of the methodological manual or dissertation to the system in Word or PDF format;
•And automatically receives the UDC and Qr code.
•Thus, this manual enters the unified database being created, and the publisher already prints the manual or dissertation with a QR code.
•Readers, when pointing at the QR of their scanned hardware device (smartphone), get the opportunity to read the electronic version of the manual.
•The entire database will be open to readers in the "Digital Library of methodological manuals and dissertations" system.
